Employee Engagement
Employee Engagement is an integral part of a high performance culture. When employees are engaged they go above-and-beyond. They are energized by what they do. They experience pride and are enthusiastic about coming to work. This is a tall order and one difficult to facilitate in most organizations. However, engagement can be fostered by a high performance culture, in particular one characterized by the traits measured in the Denison Organizational Culture Survey. This includes having an inspiring vision, investing in people, collaborating in teams, and empowering people to make decisions. These practices can lead to the critical, yet elusive, engagement of employees, tapping into people’s highest potential and peak emotions at work.
To assess your employees’ engagement, add the five-item Employee Engagement FactorTM to the Denison OCS to help benchmark how you're doing and begin the culture transformation process.
