About the Conference
The Denison Best Practices Forum 2012 will be an extremely engaging event that provides participants with valuable opportunities for discussion, networking, and collaboration. This year, the Forum will feature compelling keynote addresses, group learning sessions, and TED Talk-inspired (15-minute) speaker presentations leading into highly interactive breakout discussions.
The conference begins on Wednesday evening with a pool-side networking reception and dinner hosted by Denison Consulting, followed by an all-day session on the 19th, and concludes around 3 p.m. on Friday, January 20th. In addition to dinner receptions, conference breakfasts and luncheons provide networking opportunities throughout the event.
Sessions commence on Thursday morning with a presentation by Dan Denison, Chairman and Founder of Denison Consulting, who will introduce his forthcoming book: Leading Culture Change in Global Organizations, to be released in June 2012.
On Thursday afternoon, a series of brief presentations will explore how leading organizations have overcome significant business challenges in the areas of “The Denison Solutions” (
Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Alignment, Transformation & Turnaround, Leadership Transitions, and Leadership Development) to build high performance business cultures.
Thursday evening, attendees will enjoy a sunset cruise aboard the
Lady Atlantic Yacht. Against the beautiful backdrop of the inter-coastal waterway, dinner, drinks, and casual conversation will provide the perfect ending to a productive day.
On Friday morning, a series of brief presentations will focus on the experiences of leading organizations during three stages of “The Culture Journey” (Beginning the Journey, Building Momentum, and Sustaining Progress).
During the conference, speaker presentations will be given to the entire plenary session and will be followed by smaller, more focused breakout sessions. These interactive discussion groups will enable speakers and attendees to explore topics of interest in greater detail—a format that will make the Forum a truly engaging, informative and memorable event.
The Forum is hosted by Dan Denison, Chairman and Founding Partner and Bryan Adkins, CEO of Denison Consulting.
